Armory (6/28/2023) – Using Those Five New Pickleball Courts
Pax: 6, including Counterfeit, Kitty Hawk, Flush, Pixie Trash, Bowser, and YHC.
Short warmup included SSH (10), Good Mornings (5).
Moseyed around in a circle and came back to nearby pickleball courts (Set 1). Completed the following rotation:
Court 1 – 10 burpees
Court 2 – 20 squats
Court 3 – 30 plank jacks
Court 4 – 40 overhead claps
Court 5 – 50 LBCs
Court 4 – 40 calf raises
Court 3 – 30 merkins
Court 2 – 20 Freddie Mercuries
Court 1 – 10 burpees
Moseyed around in a circle and came back to nearby pickleball courts for more pain (Set 2):
Court 1 – 10 sky pumpers
Court 2 – 20 jump squats
Court 3 – 30 wide arm merkins
Court 4 – 40 SSHs
Court 5 – 50 Homer to Marges
Court 4 – 40 CBLs
Court 3 – 30 low slow flutters
Court 2 – 20 toy soldiers
Court 1 – 10 sky pumpers
Moseyed, to the far basketball court for some rock work (Set 3): Each Pax picks up non-traveling rock. Routine is complete 25 reps of each exercise (curls, shoulder press, bent-over-rows, and tricep extensions), run to other side of court and back between each set and move one spot over to complete next set with neighboring Pax’s rock. Lather, rinse, and repeat for second time for a total of 50 reps of each.
Back to the COT for Mary: Pax were each asked for an exercise and we completed a 10-count of it.
COT – Name-o-rama, Announcements. Prayers, including that we would be relying on God who has the strength, not on ourselves. Hebrews 12:11 says, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”
