WARMUP: Stairway was kind enough to lead the workout since YHC had traffic issues. He only gave me 5 penalty burpees.
THE THANG: In remembrance of D-Day, we need a workout partner style workout that consisted of 7 exercises, 80 reps each. They included: Carolina dry docks, Merkins, coupon squats, coupon dead lifts, American hammers, coupon shoulder press, and Ranger Merkins. While partner 1 did the exercises, the other ran 80 yds. With time remaining, we repeated the routine except we did 44 reps this time around. We moseyed back towards the flag and on the way there, did a crawl bear down a hill in honor of the rangers that scaled the cliffs of Normandy.
Thanks for allowing me to lead and honor those that gave all on June 6, 1944.
