THE THANG: Today, May 19, is National Armed Forces Day. Green Thumb (Ray Perry) was originally the Q for this morning, but I decided to pick it up to push myself as I don’t Q many boot camp workouts. So to honor Green Thumb and everyone who is and was a member of the Armed Forces, we dedicated this workout for them.
Mosey from parking lot to the dam.
AMRAP in 7-minute blocks with 1-minute rest between blocks
Block 1: Strength & Power
• 10 Merkins
• 15 Air squats
• 10 WW2’s
• 5 Burpees
Repeat for 7 minutes
Block 2: Speed & Agility
• 20 Mountain climbers
• 10 Jump squats
• 10 Shoulder taps (each side)
• 100m Mosey
Repeat for 7 minutes
Block 3: Core & Stability
• 15 WW2’s
• 30-second plank
• 10 Leg raises
• 10 Superman’s
Repeat for 7 minutes
Block 4: Endurance
• 100 m mosey
• 20 lunges (single count)
• 15 side straddle hops
• 10 merkins
Repeat for 7 minutes
