WARMUP: Following a warm-up of very upper-body friendly exercises, YHC cranked up the Wallen and began the Thang!
THE THANG: PAX were instructed there were an indefinite number of rounds of ruck and sandbag work that involved reps of 16, 12 and 8. PAX would do one set of ruck exercises and then travel by any means that doesn’t include walking/running (think bear crawl, high-knee, duck walk, etc.) to your sandbag for sandbag exercises.
Round 1 – Ruck swing/Sandbag clean overhead toss
Round 2 – Ruck crunch/Sandbag rack squat
Round 3 – Ruck Merkin/Bent-over Row
Round 4 – Ruck High Pull/Sandbag curl/squat
Round 5 – Ruck WWII/Sandbag Burpee
