There were roughly as many Pax as there were degrees this morning (11) – a fine an hearty group of men committed to advancing male leadership in our community!

WARMUP:

We chose a more dynamic set of options given the temps!

THE THANG:

We pulled our hats down tightly and took an extended warm-up Mosey around the school and back parking lot, ending up at the far end of the soccer field.

We paired up for a coupon workout drawing some inspiration from Iron Pax. Rio thought it too cold for coupons, but he and the other Pax proved that thought wrong!

Workout: 5 rounds with one partner running the box ooutlined by cones at 50 yards out and 50 across.

The other partner had fun with coupons

Q offered a command for first leg carry, a far cone exercise (10 reps), a carry back, and a near cone exercise (10 reps).

Returning runners did 25 side straddle hop and 10 shoulder tap plan if they finished early. All Pax began a new round together.when you return. If runner gets back first, plank hold.

• Round one: walking press; block squats, front carry; block over merkins

• Round two: murder bunny; jump touch; block over jumps (right); block toe taps (every right is one)

• Round three: redrum; curls; block jump overs (left); weighted sit up

• Round four: weighted hops; knees to squat; walking halos; weighted leg lift

• Round five: left shrug; ground to overhead; right shrug; blockies

After wrapping this, we made a somewhat futile attempt to do Triangle agilities:

• sprint, shuffle, sprint
• Skip hop, up down, Carioca, up down, Bernie sanders
