Warm-Ups: Side straddle hop, Willie Mays Hayes, Cervazzio Arm Circles, and Good Mornings. Mosey over to the elementary school.
- That Thang 1 Top Gun w/Coupon: We moseyed over to pick up some coupons for a little Top Gun inspired work. This was a timed workout with coupon in hand, we did the following exercises: curls for girls, overhead press, bent over rows, squats, and tricep extensions. Each exercise was a 30 second interval and at the end we did Burpees for 30 seconds. We had a 30 second break after sets 1 and 2. We repeated this 3 times. Half the group would run 200 yards and then switch and pick up where his partner stopped.
That Thang 2 The Beast:
I put cones at the 25/50/25 yard lines and both end lines for our next beatdown. I picked 6 different exercises and for each exercise we would AYG for 25 yards and perform the first exercise a set number of times, then run to the 50-yard line and repeat, run to the 25-yard line and repeat and then run to the goal line. You would then reverse course and do the same thing again coming back. We did these 5 total times for 5 different exercises.
- 5 Burpees at each 25-yard increment except for end lines.
- 10 Lt Dan’s at each 25-yard increment except for end lines.
- 15 Hand Release Merkins at each 25-yard increment except for end lines and then 10 at each come on the way back.
- 20 Squat Jumps at each 25-yard increment except for end line and then 20/15/10 at the cones coming back.
- 25 Flutter Kicks(L/R = 1) at each 25-yard increment except for end line and then 20/15/10 coming back.
We moseyed to the pavilion and then broke into two groups and did a native people run back to the flag.
